Ngong Ping 360 Promotion

A unique winter offer has just been jointly announced by Ngong Ping 360 and the Hong Kong International Airport. From 1 November 2008 until 31 January 2009, visitors to Hong Kong can experience four exciting entertainment zones at Terminal 2 together with a spectacular Ngong Ping 360 cable car ride … two worlds of thrills for a single price of just HK$178 (approx. Cdn.$26) for adults, and HK$132 (approx. Cdn.$20) for children. (The normal value of these experiences for adults is about HK$400, or approx. Cdn.$60.)

Called the “Sky-Ride & Game Pass”, the experience includes one round-trip cable car ticket on the incomparable Ngong Ping 360 cable car … a 5.7 km, 25 minute unforgettable journey to the Ngong Ping Village.

Riders on the cable car enjoy some of Hong Kong’s best views as the enclosed cabins provide vistas of the distant and vast South China Sea and the verdant, mountainous Lantau Island. The ever-changing panoramic views also include the Hong Kong International Airport, and the 360-degree view of the Ngong Ping Plateau and the immense Tian Tan Buddha Statue.

The Game Pass section of the experience includes a movie ticket to the 4D Extreme Screen Cinema, a SkyDeck visit to the Aviation Discovery Centre, eight tokens for the i-Sports Interactive Sports Game Centre, and admission and two free games at the movie-themed interactive exhibition called Asia Hollywood. These four attractions are located in Terminal 2 of the Hong Kong International Airport.

The 4D Extreme Screen Cinema is a 360-seat, state-of-the-art cinema equipped with a 3D projection system supplemented with seven multi-sensory special effects. The project screen is the largest 4D screen in Asia and provides audiences with an experience far beyond that found in any traditional cinema theatre.

The Aviation Discovery Centre (ADC) is a place where visitors can discover a wide variety of fascinating aviation-related topics with a special focus on aviation history and development in Hong Kong. The ADC provides attractions such as the HKIA Visitor Centre, the SkyDeck, Interactive Kiosks, a Cockpit Simulator, a full-motion Simulator 4D Motion Ride and many other exciting exhibits and experiences.

The i-Sports Centre offers a variety of one-of-a-kind sports simulators for soccer, basketball, golf, boxing, skiing, car racing and shooting, where amateurs and experts alike can test their skills, have their photographs taken and have challenging fun in a family environment.

And there’s lots more fun to be had at Asia Hollywood, an interactive centre equipped with sophisticated facilities where visitors can explore different aspects of the local film industry. Backed by a creative and renowned film producer - Media Asia - Asia Hollywood is a fascinating movie studio abounding with fun, excitement and photo opportunities for the visitor.

Tickets for the combined attractions can be purchased at the Asia Hollywood location (Level 6, Terminal 2) or at the Ngong Ping 360 Tung Chung Cable Car Terminal. The “Sky-Ride & Game Pass” is valid for one week from the day of purchase, so the experiences do not have to be restricted to a single day.
