I have sayed at the Imperial three times and have not really had any complaints. It is near the China Travel Service so it makes it convenient for getting your China Visa.
The Sheraton is across the street at three times the price but with the money i save I can buy custonm closthes at my tailor who is located around the corner.
It is a relatively short walk to the Harbor City Shopping Mall that is on the Bay. A fantastic place with every major designer brand in the world.
Also the MTR station is around the corner and with that subway system you can go anywhere in Hong Kong for pennies very quickly.
I cannot overstress the benefit of the location.
If you have to have a glamorous room and great big lobby with beautiful decor then go over to the Sheraton foe three times the price.
Location is absolutely excellent.
Price was very good.
Staff was very couteous and responsive.
Our rooms were fine, not glamorous but totally functional.
I have stayed at the Imperial three times and i know exactly what to expect. They seem to be upgrading the rooms and halls to make things nicer.
It is not a glamour hotel.
- Restaurant Tip : Morton's Steakhouse is across the street in the Sheraton on the 4th floor. The best steak in Hong Kong and China with a great Harbor view.

- Even the hotel is quite old but it's just been rennovated, so it looks good to me.
- Quite spacy when compare to most of the low-price, called apartments around Kowloon.
- Price is acceptable compared to its location.
- Reception officers are polite and friendly.
- Can negotiate for late check-out.
- I love this hotel because it's very high convenient for any activities, e.g. shopping, eating, visiting any place by MRT, BUS, Ferry, etc.
- I just found that it's very easy to come to this hotel by walking from Ferry terminal of China-Hong Kong City (Ferry for Macau).
- Very convenient coz it located on Tsim sha Tsui road, the popular shopping street.
- Most of foods shops, easy for finding what to eat.
- Nothing, i love this location.

the imperial's location is excellent, right in the centre of kowloon with easy access to MTR and a lot of the kowloon sights. the price offers reasonable value for money. although my room was very small, this appears normal in hong kong. my room however was quite damp, which gives the room a mouldy smell and shows a lot of damp patches on the wallpaper. overall a reasonable value option for hong kong visits. staff was excellent.

no lobby area for meetings
no restaurant/cafe for meetings
- Restaurant Tip : straight opposite the hotel, on peking road, I found an excellent chinese restaurant on the left (3rd or 4th building) - hard to spot from the outside, just a door with stairs leading down.
