Captain's Bar

Open right through from 11am-2am, this bar has been a permanent fixture since the day Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong, first opened its doors. Whilst it’s undoubtedly a place where business is done, the ambience is anything but formal, with the chess board design of the screens reflected in the portable bar tables and playing card patterned fabric of our inviting chairs and sofas.
Our resident group, the Tony Carpio Band, add to the lively atmosphere six nights a week, while a jazz trio entertains on Sunday.

Cake Shop

Begin with savoury, like a slice of freshly baked quiche, sandwich, tempting salad or selection of canapés. Then move on to something sweet and irresistible, like a generous portion of Mandarin Oriental's cheesecake, our signature chocolate truffle cake or a perfect French pastry. The Mandarin Cake Shop is a popular shopping location too, with our homemade XO sauce and rose petal jam high on many people’s lists. No wonder our recipes are requested worldwide.

Mandarin Grill

The esteemed atmosphere of The Mandarin Grill attracts the most powerful figures in Hong Kong’s business community. Billion dollar deals are signed and celebrated within its walls, and it’s a mark of its popularity that, whatever the time of day, reservations are almost always necessary. Its split-level dining with side and back galleries provide privacy at lunchtime and intimacy at dinner. The decor is quietly but distinctly underlined by timeless murals from Hong Kong-based artist Gerard D'Henderson.Breakfast spans all possibilities, from kippers, kedgeree, bacon and eggs to a comprehensive selection of cereals, fruit, muesli and bread. Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong has function rooms and executive conferencing facilities for up to 600 delegates. The Health Centre is offering three exceptional membership packages plus a host of benefits to local residents.
Gold Membership
Prices include a one time joining fee plus 13 months membership fees
HKD 29,000 - Individual
HKD 42,000 - Couple
Gold members are entitled to a host of benefits and are able to use the Health Centre from 6am to 10pm seven days a week.
Silver Membership
Prices include a one time joining fee plus 12 months membership fees
HKD 20,000 - Individual
HKD 30,600 - Couple
Silver members are entitled to a host of benefits and are able to use the Health Centre between 9am-5pm Monday to Friday and between 12pm-10pm on Saturdays (excluding public holidays)
Bronze Membership
No joining fee or membership fee is required.
Bronze members are entitled to use the Health Centre between 9am to 12noon and 2.30pm to 5pm on Monday to Friday, and from 12noon to 10pm on Saturdays (excluding Sundays and public holidays).

Vong

Opened in 1997, this dynamic restaurant has quickly become a fashionable addition to the Hong Kong dining scene. Vong offers innovative French cuisine with Asian influences, a lively bar, and elegant interior.Signature dishes include both international favourites and delicate specialities that draw from the local markets in Hong Kong. The Black Plate (an inspired selection of five appetizers) is a particularly favourite dish, as is the Warm Valrhona Chocolate Cake. Working with Jean-Georges on creating the menu, and operating the kitchen on a daily basis, is Lee Tak-Sum, Chef de Cuisine. But the real star is the view. Victoria Harbour in all its glory is the backdrop, against which to enjoy Vong’s unique ambience - judged best in the city by ‘Hong Kong’s Best Restaurants’ in 2003.
