to Hong Kong Disneyland
You will have to do some planning if you and your family are about to go to Disneyland HongKong Resort. You must make all necessary preparations—how you will manage to go to and around the park, when the best time to visit the place is, and where you are planning to stay.
Going to Disneyland unprepared will leave you more time trying to figure out how to go to a particular area than time to enjoy your stay in the self-proclaimed best place in the world.
Transportation
Include in your planning the way by which you will get to the resort. There are several ways to do this: by train, by car, by coach, by bus, and by taxi.
The MTR is the most convenient; just grab any MTR map for directions.
A car is easily available anywhere in Hong Kong. You can park your rented car or private car in the Public Transport Exchange, which can accommodate up to 1,100 cars. If you will get there via a coach, you can have yourself picked up in the Mainland.
If you are planning to go there by a bus, you can do so through the 6 bus companies that operating to and from the resort. Going there by a taxi can be quite expensive, but nevertheless convenient.
Fun around the Park
Getting around the park by foot can be hard, so definite planning in this area is definitely necessary.
This includes knowing your way around the park—even if you have no actually gone there.
This will require you to know which rides you plan to take first, so everything will run smoothly by the time you arrive.
Knowing the landmarks would also help. Some of the notable landmarks are the Inspiration Lake, Hollywood Hotel, and other hotels.
Park Map
Downloading the park map is an absolute map if you want your planning to go as smoothly as possible. The map is colorful and is easy to understand. In no time, you are bound to understand how to go to where you want to.
You will find the four major areas in the map: Main Street USA, Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, and Adventureland. What makes the map easy to understand is the legend located in the lower left corner of the map.
Park Hours and Calendar
The fun in Disneyland HK starts at 10 AM and ends at 8 PM. This is the regular schedule of the park for non-holidays.
The place is open from Mondays to Fridays.
Though this 10 to 8 schedule is regular, there are slight changes from time to time since the management releases its calendar monthly.
The reason behind this is to surprise its audience and keep on coming back for more.
Guest Services
There are guest services for specialized guest conditions.

There are first aid stations, ATMs and lockers located throughout the park. Dining reservations and smoking areas are also possible.
Weather Tips
The park usually remains open despite rain pour. However, operations on certain rides may be suspended due to rains.
If the weather authorities announce a typhoon of Signal 1, a few attractions will have to be closed. If the weather reaches Signal 3, then most outdoor rides will be suspended.
The park will be closed once a typhoon of Signal 8 to 10 is announced.
