If you intent to mail stuff back home, Hong Kong Post provides an excellent postal system for Hong kong. Airmail letters to any place in the world should take three to eight days. The Kowloon Central Post Office and the General Post Office in Central are open 8 AM to 6 PM Monday through Saturday. Staff at most offices speak English. Lavender coloured mail boxes with lime green posts are clerly marked in english and chinese.
