Restaurants and bars at The Peninsula Hong Kong are among the most exclusive and most elegant in Hong Kong. High tea at The Lobby is a Hong Kong institution, while Gaddi's is Hong Kong's most elegant dining experience, and the Philippe Starck-designed Felix is the most chic and stylish rendezvous in town (reservations essential). For a little colonial nostalgia, try The Verandah, or for among the best authentic Cantonese food in town, Spring Moon.

Gaddi's is a Hong Kong institution, which has long been regarded as one of the finest and most elegant restaurants in Hong Kong. Its chandeliers and blue and gold tones create a gracious backdrop for exemplary service, gourmet French cuisine, and a magnificent wine list, while the private dining room provides an excellent venue for special occasions.

Created by world-famous avant-garde designer Philippe Starck, Felix sits on the 28th floor of The Peninsula Tower and is Hong Kong's most glamorous dining experience. Expect inventive Pacific Rim cuisine, exhilarating interiors and lighting - plus the most incredible sweeping views of the harbor and Hong Kong's skyline; great for people-watching too. The small, space-age Felix Bar also draws a glamorous crowd any time from happy hour to after hours.

In 1998, The Peninsula's authentic Cantonese restaurant was transformed to a rich replica of how the original would have been in 1928, when The Peninsula opened. Stained glass, dark teak paneling and flooring, art deco features, and Frank Lloyd-Wright highlights combine to give a period feel to the restaurant. A tea counter with over 25 selected Chinese teas and professionally trained tea masters in attendance add to the dining experience. Several exclusive dining rooms, situated on two levels, are ideal for private functions.

The Chesa is a cozy and intimate restaurant styled after a Swiss alpine chalet, and its menu comprises authentic Swiss regional specialties including, of course, fondue. The gourmet menu also features an extensive list of Swiss wines. Three-course set lunches are served daily.

Imasa is a stylish, contemporary-designed Japanese restaurant, which serves traditional Japanese cuisine, including shabu shabu, sukiyaki, sashimi, and stone-grill favorites prepared at your table. The restaurant also features two private dining rooms. Set menus and full kaiseki meals are available on request.

The Verandah, with its arched, sea-facing windows and whirring wooden ceiling fans, offers a relaxed, tropical setting which is splendidly evocative of the early colonial days of Hong Kong. Set lunches and a colorful dinner buffet with a Mediterranean flair are served daily. Sundays and Public Holidays also feature The Verandah Buffet Lunch, while on Saturdays it's the Leisure Luncheon.

The classical grandeur of The Peninsula Lobby is the epitome of all that is great about this legendary hotel. The Lobby is a busy but relaxed all-day drinking and dining venue, and one of Hong Kong's premier meeting places. The world-renowned afternoon high tea is a Hong Kong "must" where guests are entertained by a live string band. In the evening, The Lobby pianist plays.

Intimate and relaxing, The Bar is a quiet, hidden corner of the hotel which is ideal for a comfortable and casual drink with friends and colleagues.

The Pool Terrace offers breakfast by the pool, or casual all day snacks for hotel residents.
