Hong Kong Victoria Park
Victoria Park is a huge 19-acre park located on Causeway and Gloucester roads in Causeway Bay. Victoria Park is one of Hong Kong's largest parks and is popular with all residents.
Constructed on reclaimed land formerly used for a typhoon shelter, Victoria Park has tennis and squash courts, a 50m (164-ft.) swimming pool, soccer fields, basketball courts, playgrounds, a skating rink, and a jogging track.
Victoria Park is also popular in early morning for those practicing tai chi (shadow boxing).
The Mid-Autumn Festival is held here, as well as a flower market a few days before Chinese New Year.
Victoria Park is open 24 hours and is free.
To reach the park, take the MTR to the Causeway Bay station.
